Genuine Edwardian 1900s Antique Riding Jacket and Skirt SET
Genuine Edwardian Antique Riding Jacket and Skirt Set. Absolutely amazing antique skirt and shirt combo in great shape for the age. All wear known: hole in right sleeve near sleeve cuff, small, sleeve cuffs could use some stitching to hold them in place, Discoloration spots on front panel of bodice. Small black marks of fabric wear throughout that aren‘t super noticeable with dark fabric. Some holes in cotton lining. This piece you can tell was pieced together with other past pieces, the lining inside the bodice has a sweet floral cotton. This outfit is in fantastic wear for the age, all bodice hook and eye closures, and snaps are all intact. Suspected celluloid neck stays. Skirt is also in great condition, with again small marks of wear in skirt, possible moth hole damage. Not noticeable to eye. All snap and eye closures are in tact. Hooks near closures makes me suspect there was a pannel of extra fabric to hide the closures that matched the set, but now has been lost to time. Measurements: Jacket, 42"" Bust, 32"" Waist line, 25"" Length. Skirt, 32"" Waist, 44"" Hip, 32"" Length. This set is definitely sturdy enough to be a wearable set.
